Walk Tacoma 2024: Immigrant History Walk

Join us for a walk on May 15th, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., covering Old Town and Immigrant History!

This is a wider immigration-themed tour, including an overlook of Chinese Reconciliation Park, led along N 30th street, which includes stops at the Slavonian American Benevolent Society building. This would include stories and landmarks representing multiple immigrant groups in Tacoma, including folks with Croatian, Scandinavian, Jewish, Black, and Chinese heritage. Walk will continue via N Star St and N 29th Street for a stop at the Old St Peter’s Church, before returning back to the Job Carr Cabin Museum.
