As we are emerging from a year characterized for many by fewer commutes, and less movement overall, we have the opportunity to re-examine our transportation systems to make sure there is an efficient and fair mix of mobility options. The recovery and reopening of Tacoma’s businesses relies on an equitable, accessible and functional transportation system. Downtown On the Go has worked together with our community and leaders to make it easier to walk, bike and take transit for more than 10 years. We can’t wait to share our efforts with you at our annual luncheon at 12:00 on June 24, 2021. This virtual event will feature remarks from local leaders Senator T’wina Nobles, Mayor Victoria Woodards and Pierce County Councilmember Ryan Mello.
