June is Ride Transit Month in Tacoma and Pierce County! To celebrate, Downtown On the Go, Pierce Transit, and Pierce Trips are teaming up for the second annual Transit Trivia night. Individuals or teams (up to 6 players) will answer transit related questions featuring historical facts, transit in pop culture, and local transit knowledge. This is a celebration of public transit and its significance in our lives, communities, and broader culture.
Registration is not required, it’s free to participate, and the event and location are family friendly. Transit Trivia will take place at Zeeks Pizza in Downtown Tacoma (1702 Pacific Ave, Tacoma WA 98402) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday June 1st. Pizza will be provided with drinks available for purchase. There will be two trivia rounds, and the top three teams overall will receive prizes. Prizes will include Pierce Transit and Pierce Trips swag, and gift cards to local businesses located along the Hilltop Tacoma Link Extension route.
