Come join us for the 3rd annual Blessing of the Bikes to kick off Bike Month in Tacoma. The Blessing of the Bikes is an event to give thanks to the progress being made, remember cyclists no longer with us, and to reflect on the important work still to be done to strengthen the bike community and improve ridership safety.
This is non-denominational event and everyone will be welcomed with open arms!
Coffee and refreshments will be served at 7:30 with a short service to start at 8.
The Tacoma Bike Swap is the largest bicycle-related event in the South Sound region. Whether you are looking to buy, sell, or simply looking to find other riders, join us for this exciting community event!
We will be fitting and selling $10 helmets! Come say hi!
Note that the Bike Swap has moved from its traditional location at the Memorial Fieldhouse to the Thompson Parking Lot at Union & North 14th Street.

Ever thought about speaking at City Council but not sure where to start? Or have something to say but not sure which elected body to say it to?
Join us for a casual conversation about the basics! We’ll share stories, hear tips & tricks, and then be joined by Councilmember Mello for the second half to hear from the other side (hint: they’re people, too!).
Whether you’re interested in advocating for buses, bikes, or a more walkable city, you’ll learn something at this workshop.
